Back to the roots

Heat was never just a workout. It was a ritual.

Long before the sauna became a wellness trend, it was a place of healing, cleansing and connection, where heat, herbs and breath were passed from generation to generation.

For three days in the Norwegian mountains we step away from the noise, slow down and learn the art of Aufguss the way it was meant to be: with respect for tradition, for the body and for the people around us. Whether you already lead sessions, want to start, or simply love the heat, this is your place.

What awaits you

I

Towel Training

4 practical sessions: waving fundamentals, classic & dynamic towel, transitions, body movement, open towel, two towels and team techniques.

II

Sauna Culture

Traditions, cultures and history of the heat ritual – where it all comes from and why it matters today.

III

Herbal Wisdom

Traditional uses, effects, aroma and safety of herbs – and how to apply them in the sauna in practice.

IV

Breath & Mind

Daily morning meditation and breathwork, opening and closing circles.

V

Body & Recovery

Mobility, activation, strength and regeneration – so your body can keep up with the training.

VI

Ceremony & Connection

Cacao ceremony, sound bath & sound healing, songs and stories with guitar, connection night.

Program

A balanced rhythm of practice, theory, rest and community. Small changes to the schedule may happen on site.
