1) Preparation
Ventilate the room. Prepare a heat-resistant bowl with sand and remove flammable items.

2) Lighting
Hold the stick at the base. Light the tip, let it burn a few seconds, and gently blow it out – the stick will smoulder.

3) Cleansing
Allow the smoke to flow naturally or gently wave the stick around the space.

4) Extinguishing
Press the tip into the sand until fully out. Use water only if necessary.
